So yeah, I haven't put up anything in a while, but I seriously doubt anyone out there is all "WHAT HAPPENED ZOMG I MISS YOU!!!!" so whatever.

Anyway.

It's all but official: starting in March, I will be attending the Columbus Culinary Institute at Bradford. (Yes, I'm being pretentious and spelled out the college's full name BECAUSE I CAN, DAMMIT.)

And... for the first time in a long, long time, I feel happy. Genuinely happy.

I feel like I'm getting another chance at being successful when I ruined that opportunity the first time. I feel like I'm going to get the chance to make a career out of something I enjoy. I feel like I'll no longer be trapped underneath not having the experience, the accreditation, or the degree.

I feel like I can do this. I feel like I can make up for losing motivation and dropping out before.

And, perhaps most importantly...

I don't feel like a failure anymore.
